On a day of utter boredom and never-ending reading, I decided it was time for a new hat so I pulled out my yarn bucket and scoured the internet for a pattern. Finding about a thousand different ones I liked, it was time to invent and create. Using about 6 different stitches (and my own variations of them), 3 sessions of unraveling, a plethora of frustration, and 8 different patterns, THIS was born. PERFECT - - - -just in time for Spring! Neat thing is (a.k.a. not planned), I had an extra button from my coat so I added that to the flower and now I feel all color coordinated.
The test run was going to be at cross-country skiing last night, but we couldn't get up the canyon in my roommate's car. (Some people just should NOT drive in the snow, EVER. I don't care if you ARE from Utah). So, until we meet again little hat, enjoy hanging out of the pocket of my coat.
